Could you go 24 hours without food?

If you're reading this, you probably have never experienced true hunger. Privilege can be crushing; why would people be obliged to suffer for being born in the wrong place at the wrong time? Hunger is a challenge faced daily for approximately 11.3% of the world's population including children. For those fortunate to survive, malnutrition has detrimental effects on childhood growth and learning abilities. In Liberia, West Africa, almost a third of children suffer from chronic malnutrition. Those are not just words or numbers. It's real pain. Through FAST 24, UNICEF on Campus volunteers will go without food on 25th November to raise money for UNICEF's vital emergency food programmes.

Please join us in supporting their fundraising efforts because a peaceful world cannot exist one-third rich and two-thirds hungry.
